The Emotions of Tchaikovsky

This project visualizes the emotions of Tchaikovsky’s ballets using color. Each song of the ballet was matched to a color based on the key that song is performed in. The musical keys for each song were taken from tunebat.com. Keys were matched to an emotion based on this article and emotions were matched to a color based on Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions.

The colors are printed as vertical strips in the order of the ballet.
